(L-R: Nick Walters, Simon Bucher-Jones, Jon deBurgh Miller, Steve Cole, Paul Cornell (hidden), Dave Owen, Keith Topping, David Howe) The British Contingent perform the now-traditional slaughtering of a popular song; this year it's "Go West" by the Village People. Not sure if it could *get* much worse than the original in this case...
Steve Cole leads the horde... the audience cowers.
"Go WEEEEESSST!"
Jo Castleton and Adrian Fairs camp it up
Altogether now... "Whoooo, Who is Doctor Whoooooo..."
Mark Strickson's improvised act involved a taste test of Real English Cider, pickled eggs and the strong stomachs of several volunteers, including Simon Bucher-Jones, who, when asked what he thought the eggs tasted like, replied, "cicada." Another's reaction was, "Arse."
Simon hijacks Mark's microphone while he's pouring cider and continues on his cicada rant... cue a fwapping from Mark! (note Eva on the far right burying her head in her hands...)
The lovely Bonnie Langford entertained the audience with her musical talents. Sadly my one pic of Shaun Lyon dancing with Bonnie was far too dark :-/
